Okay on a technical level people would say Oldboy by a mile but you see I am an Action Die Hard junkie and this movie has it by the truck load... Might be my favorite Korean movie ever, and that last scene where he confronts his boss?? That was emotional and so raw!!!

Oldboy was wonderful and I gave it a 9/10 which is a very high rating for me. I gave A Bittersweet Life a 10/10. Unbelievable movie. The cinematography alone is gorgeous and won several awards in Asia. The fights and gun violence are at just the right level and expertly done. This is an all-time great mob movie and I highly recommend it to anyone.
shareThis film was raw as hell, heavy and very entertaining. Great atmosphere throughout, great acting, great characters, great camerawork, fantastic film. I loved it.
That being said, I'd say Oldboy is the better film of the two, just more memorable all together and a bit more interesting.
EDIT: Although, if I wanted to add another Korean film to the list, I guess I Saw the Devil tops both of them for me.
