I don't know about hate but I didn't sympathise with her at all. Regardless of how her relationship with the mob boss started she was an absolute idiot to cheat on him as there was no way it wouldn't lead to trouble. She knew that he was a mob boss and she knew what he did and what kind of man he was. It was also clear that she knew what Sunwoo's job was and that he had been given the job of watching her but she still selfishly carried on her affair.
I know she was angry about the ultimatum Sunwoo gave her but considering that he saved her and her lover's life a "thank you" wouldn't have gone amiss at the very least rather than her ungrateful response!
I don't like her either. i find her very selfish & tbh, very self-centered. She gets involved in a dangerous relationship with a gangster boss. She then proceeds to cheat on him, IN PUBLIC, as if he wouldn't find out. When Kim gives both her & her boyfriend a chance, to not see each other anymore & to keep it all a secret, she selfishly wants to continue the affair. Does she not care for her boyfriend's life? Does she not realize that Kim is putting himself out there for her? I think she simply did not care about any of them or the consequences of her actions. She seems like a spoiled narcissistic, full-of-herself brat.

It was exactly her carefree attitude which awakened him. He determined to let the girl and her boyfriend live was a mere symbolism to defy his very lonely subservient life which catapulted to his chaotic decent.
Didn't care about the girl or any of the characters. The second the "boss" mentioned a girl and sending the young guy to look after her I knew where the plot was going. I fast forwarded from that point and guess what, it was way too predictable and stupid. I have no idea why this got such a high score. It's just generic trash in my book.
I think the point where he is on the phone to the mob boss who is asking him why he did it (let then go) explained a lot... Both of them loved her despite her being a logically terrible choice of suitor for any of them, sometimes love makes a men do crazy things.
I think the point was they both fell for her, and in their line of work, love is a dangerous thing to have. Once he started having feelings for her he made the dangerous choice to let her go, when really he shouldnt have because
A. She did cheat B. It would get him, and probably the girl killed
