I must have missed it

How did they track Robert down? I don't recall any leads to link him. The prostitute he murdered mentioned that Alina had a visitor a black man but other than that how exactly did they find him?

If I remember correctly, Teddy had gotten all of the surveillance camera videos from the surrounding area and Robert was the only one who went into the room, but never came out. Then using the videos, he was able to follow the route he took (walking, the bus, etc..) back to his neighborhood/apartment.

Yeah, I guess it was believable that Teddy found him. Tedy did have access to BPD's video system thanks to the corrupt cop. But they coulda done a better job (for the audience's sake) of showing Teddy gradually zeroing in on him. One scene Teddy had a grainy photo of Denzel on the bus, next scene Teddy is at his apartment. Needed something in between.

I agree, and I found it hard to believe that an ex-CIA who probably has a lot of enemies and wanted to live a quiet, anonymous life would be so easy to track down.
