shareThat's because this film is good
shareThat's a good thing. This isn't the best horror film but it's better than a 3.9/10 and better than a 5.0/10.
When life knocks you down, roll over and look at the stars ⭐
It's deserving of a 3 star rating at best.
shareI just don't understand the thrill with this movie. 4/10 rating from me.
sharetotally agree, this movie is really really bad.
I just remember Camilla Belle picking up the phone and saying over and over and over: who is this??? this is not funny!!! please stop!!!! stop calling!!!
Movies are a funny thing sometimes. There are so many movies that open to negative reviews, critically and/or audience, that, after time goes by (time meaning several years) are looked at in a different light and are more appreciated.
People are stupid and always look for the bad in horror movies and are so quick to crucify any and all remakes. This is a very thrilling and decently made movie that I've liked for a while. The atmosphere is very tense and dark and creepy and it makes me not want to be alone in my house. I've rated it a 7 and I stand by that.
It deserves a higher rating. I found it to be highly suspenseful, and it doesn’t overstay it’s welcome. The original is a solid movie, but is mainly remembered for the creepy opening; after that it’s a police procedural. This remake maintains the suspense throughout.
