Official U.S. Blu-ray?

Why is it there's no official U.S. blu-ray available? I know there is a Canadian blu-ray out there, but it's only the theatrical cut. I really wish Dimension Films would put both Black Christmas (unrated), and Wolf Creek (unrated) on official U.S. blu-rays!

Thoughts?

This movie is not released anywhere in the world unrated on blu-ray other then Germany. Crazy stuff, I love the 1974 movie, but this remake is also fun as hell. I dont compare it to the 74 movie at all, its more of a teeny scream slasher with tons of *beep* badass kills!

It actually was released in Canada on Blu-ray, but it's the standard theatrical cut. It has the same bonus features as the Dimension R1 DVD I believe. I ordered it on Amazon Canada last year for about $25 if I recall. Cost a bit more to ship to the US, but it was worth it for me. I love this film in all its absurdity and wanted to have it on Blu-ray.

Scream Factory (who helped make the Halloween box set and are releasing the Sleepaway Camp sequels) tried to get the uncut high definition transfer for a US Blu-Ray but they cancelled it because of legal rights.

Did this really happen? Last year we got the Original Black Christmas, this year it was Silent Night Deadly Night. I was hoping they might try to get this movie for next year as their Holiday Horror release.

You can import the German Blu Ray from Amazon.de for around $12 shipped. It work on US players and has a lot of behind the scenes features.
