I can't say enough about Thomas Newman's "Golden Age" score. His Academy Award nominated music was so good, I know his father, the legendary Alfred Newman,would approve. it's so refreshing to hear a score that isn't afraid to take center stage. The same day I watched the film, I ordered the CD.

Thanks for confirming that Thomas is from the famous film Newmans. When I saw the name in the credits I wondered if he was Randy's cousin. Guess I was right. Yes, it was a good musical score.

I miss Big Band music and talented singers. Leonard Cohen is my idol. Civility, harmony, unity!
