Plausible in the beginning but fades.
The acting was plausible in the beginning.
I get the feeling that they took the work seriously.
But the movie fades fast into a "good guys fight the
conspiracy" type of thing.
Pity.

YEAH, I felt the same.
Even if this came before "Lost" (didn't it?)
It was cool to see "Toad" on screen again, and, yes, the 1st episode was catchy.
However, I guessed those lights in the sky were choppers. It's an ancient trick of Spielberg ("Close Encounters"), therefore, I feared for the worst... which happened! The following episodes became crappier and crappier.... right to the end.
