Complete DVD is much better than watching on TV. * May Contain Spoilers*

We had this a year or so ago on UK Sci Fi Channel and it looked ok but the ending we got was abysmal. So much so that I was in the 'I hated it camp.' Until I got the complete DVD and watched the whole thing from start to finish and I changed my mind completely, I was able, for the first time, to see this in it's entirety, complete and uncut and not interrupted by adverts and consecutive nights (or weeks in some cases) showings. Watching it complete it makes sense and it DOES have an ending - something I was really angry about with the TV showing. I now love this and was only annoyed at what happened to Stan (the always wonderful Bruce Davison) in one of the alternate timeleines but thankfully everything worked out ok in the end ... well, in the timeline they ended up in.

I agree... it is heaps better watching the whole thing on DVD. When they aired it here in Australia they actually chopped out some of the scenes to shorten it into 2 nights instead of 3./... one scene we missed was when Bruce and Emily were getting ready to go diving.

I had no problem when it was shown on the BBC without adverts and presumably without cuts.

Its that man again!!

I just bought this and am really loving it i hope the ending isnt abysmal then :)
