The only thing that is attracting me to the movie is the creator of it. Is it worth getting?
Farscape is brilliant as hell and im trying to find something of the same caliber. Is this in the same ballpark?
I think it's worth seeing, if you are a fan of science and time travel and mysteries. I think I've seen it 4 or 5 times over the years.

Rockne S. O'Bannon produces lots of utter, utter fluff! Farscape was simply amazing but everything else he has done is about as riveting as an episode of Worzel Gummidge. I mean SeaQuest DSV? Christ almighty, that show changed genre with every 5 episodes.
Triangle is a decent watch, but it's not totes amazeballs, it's like those miniseries' where Yosemite National Park is about to blow up or an asteroid is going to destroy Earth.
