I just want to see a cool superhero movie, not a social commentary about gender roles. Everything in the fantasy world doesn't have to tie in to the political issues of the real world.

The director has said many times she loves portraying the beauty and glamour of women. That's not the kind of thing a feminist says.
And there is absolutely no put-down of men in this movie. Steve Trevor is just as heroic as Diana in his own way.
