share89 was good, 04 was OK, this one was laughable at best. I liked Ray, but the acting, script and comical direction was just too bad.

shareI just watched this recently because the "How Did This Get Made?" podcast did an episode where they raved about this movie and even featured the director and comedian Patton Oswalt as guests. I decided to watch for myself and all I can say is that this was the best Punisher film yet because it works on so many levels. Over the top violence, dark humor, larger than life characters, and great visuals. The only way to do Punisher justice is to be unapologetic about the violence and embrace the lack of depth in the Punisher's motives. This did just that without taking pointless detours into irrelevant material like the 2004 movie. Everyone did a great job in this and it's a shame that there wont' be any sequels.
