FINALLY COMING ON DVD IN THE US!!!!!!!!

Lions Gate Home Entertainment has announced an uncut release of Catacombs, which stars Shannyn Sossamon, and Pink (Alecia Moore). The disc will be available to own on DVD February 19, and should retail at around $29.95. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include an audio commentary with the Directors and Writers, a Descend into Catacombs making of featurette, and another featurette on the music. Check out the cover art inside.

amazon uk has the catacombs listed as 'the unrated director's cut'. anyone know any details?

Okay guys,call me ignorant,but, what does anamophic mean? And4x3 letter box...how does it differ? Sorry, I just pop a movie in the player....I'm not up on this stuff! lol!

It means that if you have a widescreen tv, you'll have to *beep* with your TV to make the film look right. Basically, not giving a film an anamorphic transfer is pretty much the laziest *beep* thing a studio can do when making a DVD. It doesn't effect the image on a standard tv in the slightest either, so there is no excuse for not providing one.

making matters WORSE, the friggin menu IS anamorphic.

But it just goes along with the general laziness and overall *beep* of this movie.
