I didn't get too good a look at the credits, but is it Joan Jett credited for Cherry Bomb?

shareActually... it's an old old Runaways song! I was really amazed to hear it used in this movie.
Joan Jett, one of that group, later became a solo performer and was the most successful of that original group, but at the time of the album that contained 'Cherry Bomb's release the lead singer of the band was a girl named Cherry Currie.
Currie though never seemed to go any further. (well... she has a website) Jett's career of course, took off.
Lita Ford was another Runaway.
