can anyone say disney movie?

seriously, i'm not gonna lie, I only caught abit of the end of the film. Sure you can say its unfair to judge just by only watching abit of it, but seriously I can determine the film easily.

robin williams lies to family to have a family bonding moment but really goes to a merger with another company (i.e business thing) then some disney moment where the so-called bad guy gets screwed then a extra happy cheesy ending.

the old 'lets get mad at the dad disney moment despite his just trying to keep his job so he can provide for his family, but his made to feel like crap (i.e learn the error of his ways) because his not spending enough time with the kids, which is fine for them since stupid kids don't have to work, and not realising how adult life is torturing

How I felt about what I saw:

* robin telling his son that he'll eventually grow tall i.e "don't worry son all kids at your age feel insecure and its apart of growing up, you'll grow out of it" moment.

seriously?1?

should we be teaching this to kids? we should teach kids you're great no matter what, as a person whos short as well and asian I got bullied for my height and the colour of my skin, trust me its not nice.

* robin williams was being an A-hole, seriously did he have to screw his boss like that? if you don't like the company then leave (i.e its supposably evil and being bad to the enviroment...which if you're so preachy, then why take the money? I mean how noble of him).

For christs-sake your boss didn't just pin his hopes on you, but he ignored the other guy because he trusted you and you treat him like that?? how disrespectful. Also did he even think about the OTHER employeess? if the company goes under because of what he said (i.e now with a bad reputation) others may lose their job.

* also robin williams says "take your hands off my daughter" seriously? how did you think the boss would react, you've single handed destroyed the companies reputation AND with the stupid daughter too??

* also he let go of the daughter, why did the son judo throw a guy, (which was unrealistic) ANOTHER DISNEY MOMENT. (god I'd love to punch the KID in the face)

* also about the daughter saying its poluting this and that, if she's that much of a hippy why does she think the dad is a dork, hippies are essentially nerds themselves. Also wouldn't it be alot easier to join the company and change it within instead of screwing someone??

* its unrealistic, kids want to be home schooled? daughter is happy their dad is broke and they'll be homeless?? *shakes head*

* i hated how robin williams son was so disrespectful because his dad lied to him, "no I'll stay here", kids are such b*sards these days, unlike old fashion films.

geez son, sorry for not wanting to get fired since your dumb mum doesn't work and having no job means I can't put food on the table for you.

but the script writers made me say "can't give you the lavish lifestyle anymore, so I can't defend my argument to lie, therefore makes it ok for you to treat your own dad like sh*t".

p.s I'm sure a crappy camper van can't crush two cars that flat when even a monster truck can't do that.

whoever wrote the script should be shot in the face. The only good thing was the daughter, she was hot.
