Homecoming - Using dead people to push your political agenda; Dispicable

I don't know why I'm bothering to write about this, as most people have never seen this piece of *beep* and I certainly don't want to give it free publicity. However, as long as this board is already here, I might as well.

This is about as low as you can get. The loser who wrote this piece of crap is using the dead to push his *beep* political agenda. How dare you use the dead for your personal gain and personal push of political ideology. He uses these people because he knows that they can't stand up and defend themselves against his *beep* accusations. He claiming that if every soldier who has died in combat were to magically come back to life, they would all suddenly be liberals. Every single one of them. The guy who wrote this is as low as they get. Then, he adds his own threats against the lives of real politicians by stating something to the effect of "If you ever send people to fight a war over lies again, we will kill you". Wow. What a *beep* *beep* I hope this guy trips over his own hate filled ego and breaks his purse in the process.

My last statement to the guy who wrote this: You are going to die a lonely, hate filled, hated old man. Prepare for it now.

I was so offended by The Homecoming that I think steam was coming out of my ears. I cannot believe that this was even made! Whoever wrote this story, directed this POS, etc should be ashamed of themselves. Can you imagine the backlash if conservatives made a movie or show slamming liberals in this fashion? I would love to meet the idiots who brought this episode into existence, there would be some people without any teeth left in their mouth that's for sure.

reply

Conservatives SHOULD make a movie that slams liberals in a similar way. "Hippy Vegan Zombie Apocalypse" could be freakin funny as hell! Having the zombie disease being spread by tainted weed.

I thought this episode to be very good. I wouldn't consider myself a liberal (I'm not even american) but I seriously have problems with anyone getting "offended" over it. I applaud anyone who has the guts to put his opinion into his art, whether it pisses people off or not.

reply

Guts, opinion and pissing people off are three things that have nothing to do with this waste of film. Making death threats to living people, taking advantage of the dead to push your political agenda and claim that they would suddenly change their opinions to match yours if they magically came back to life? Those are all things all have to do with this beta tape home movie.

Wait, did you actually use the term "art"?

reply

Everytime a conservative stands up and acuses anyone against the Iraq invasion and subsequent war as being "unpatriotic" or "treasonous," they are doing the same thing you acuse the makers of this episode to be doing.

The conservatives constantly refer to young soldiers sacrificing their lives for the good of their country or the world. But those young soldiers "...can't stand up and defend themselves against [that] *beep*" just as you say is occuring with the creation of this episode.

I was in the military. I knew when I signed that I could go to war at any time. Every soldier, sailor or airman knows this.

I run around in circles, it is my metaphor

You people are all missing the whole point to the episode. The point wasn't "liberals are this way" and "conservatives are this way." That was just the foundation. The main point is be careful what you say and how you say it, otherwise it may shamble up and bite you on your ass.

What a butt-hurt baby! Next time try not to go boom-boom when crying about the big bad film!

Dear Mr. Butt-Hurt,

We deeply appreciate your ability to latch onto and copy trendy phrases that you see on internet troll training sites. Can you please keep posting and keep us up to date on all of the swell new phrases that you copy from others?

Love,
Your fans.

P.S. Kudos on picking a phrase that alludes to the fact that you frequently think about anal sex!

I think I recognize the style of that 2nd grade retort. Were you one of the writers of the movie?

reply

I hated this episode! I wasted about 12 minutes of my life
watching it. Thankfully I did not waste my money on buying it,
the library did. LOL. At least the dvd included 'Pick me up'
which I watched before and really liked.

I was in the mood for a good scary movie, like Pick me up,
not this piece of crap.

I also liked Fair Haired Child, maybe because that had good actors unlike
Homecoming whose actors were so boring and untalented!

My last straw was the first zombie solider that got slapped and shot as
he groaned! How about some respect for soldiers who gave their life
so we could be free?

Btw, I hated this episode!

reply

I kno, rite?!?! I think the thing dat bothered me most is

THEY WERE FICTIONAL DEAD PEOPLE. Are you offended in zombie movies when fictional Americans are eaten by the unpatriotic walking dead? Seriously, it was a story and just because you didn't agree with the message makes it, ugh, the worst thing ever. FICTION IS SO OFFENSIVE. I couldn't stand it in Independence Day when Randy Quaid sacrificed himself and orphaned his children. WHAT A TERRIBLE FATHER. Despicable, absolutely despicable.

reply

Dear Mr. AngryFace,

Thank you for your informative training session on how to make death threats on film and pretend that they don't exist. If it were not for your intensive training course, I would not now be aware that making death threats and taking advantage of the dead to push your personal political agenda is totally f'ing cool as long as you call it "fictional"! Sort of like saying whatever you want to someone and ending it with "Bless his heart".

I have already begun writing my new film, entitled, "Die Obama Die, you race baiting child molester". It's cool though, because it's FICTIONAL!

Love,
Your new fan club

P.S. Kudos on the firm grasp of the english language!

Maybe we've got this episode all wrong. It is pointed out that the magic-liberal-soldiers are actually brain dead. In this sense, they score a 100% on the "are you a liberal" test.

this is to the first two posters. I cant believe you are getting so bent out of shape over a tv show. i liked the episode but i will agree that it may not have been in the best taste.I might be inclined to agree with you if not for the fact that tv shows do this all the time, i"ve seen cartoons made for chidren push a political agenda. I have seen a lot of tv shows that slam liberals, in fact, a lot of people use "the dead" to push the opposite agenda how is this any different. Now i do agree that's not quite what the episode is about but, i was just making a point. The point is i dont see a difference in what you are so upset about and what hundreds of other tv shows and movies have done.
