which episodes are worth seeing, if any

Most horror movies suck. Are there any episodes in these series worth watching?

If you can handle disturbing and twisted, Miike's Imprint is quite good.

Don Coscarelli's Incident On and Off a Mountain Road is pretty scary, and well done.

Lucky McKee did a good job with Sick Girl, good ending in that one.

William Malone isn't really a "master" of horror, but Fair-Haired Child was pretty creepy and has a couple riveting scenes.

If you're not interested in seeing John Cusak in the Raven, you might like Stuart Gordon's The Black Cat, which was stylish and tense at times.

Some people liked Joe Dante's Homecoming, but I thought it was too much political satire.

Argent's Jenifer, and both Carpenter pieces have some merit, but just aren't tense enough to me. And that seems to be the case with a lot of these. Parts are good, many are strange, but overall many are not suspenseful or scary enough. Your mileage may vary.

"Right To Die" just for Julia Anderson's awesome breasts alone!

Jenifer kind of hit a chord with me. Maybe it was just a perfect storm of circumstances, but crap; what a twisted sick story. I love horror movies and like so many others have, as time goes by, found that originality and true horror seem to be qualities hollywood lacks. Not always, but generally. I know I am jaded but Jenifer washed that away and now my cat is looking at me all creeped out too.

I plan to see the other episodes but give this one a shot.

Good lord can you imagine what a dentist would say to her?

Jenifer, Deer Woman, Family, Fair-Headed Child, Incident On A Mountain Road, The Screwfly Solution, and Pick Me Up are the only ones I rated above 6.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

My favorites are Family and Imprint, though I watch Imprint more for the gorgeous costumes and wild hair on the prostitutes :)

i've seen many say steer clear of "Pelts". it has got to be one of the funniest things i've ever watched. one of those things that I pray was supposed to be seriously written, making it even funnier. oh and Meat Loaf's the main character

i'm exaggerrating a bit, don't expect to be as amused as I was, should be close though. do yourself a favor by not reading the plot description beforehand.

Most horror movies suck?

What kind of shallow minded person who apparently has sucky opinions of the genre comes to the board of a show called Masters of Horror?

Looking for something to ***** about for attention? Must be, or else a lack of something else.

Gamefaqs has a far worse population than IMDB

reply

Seems you not me are the attention seeker. And that's lame you know why.
