Which characters deserve their own show?

Is it just me, or did this series have some AWESOME characters in it? Some of them, I feel, deserved much more than just a single hour-long episode to appear in; I'd have gladly watched their continued adventures! Of course, such a thing will, sadly, never happen, but if it did, who would you want to see get their own spinoff?

Here are my favorite characters from the show:

-Ida Teeter (played in the episode Sick Girl by Angela Bettis)
-Mr. Chaney (played in the episode The V Word by Michael Ironside)
-Wheeler (played in the episode Pick Me Up by Michael Moriarty)
-Harold Thompson (played in the episode Family by George Wendt)
-Edgar Allen Poe (played in the episode The Black Cat by Jeffrey Coombs)

Just for fun, I've also been trying to imagine what each character's spin-off series would look like. Here's what I came up with:

-Edgar Allen Poe moves into Highberger House, meets some of the crazy people there, pretty soon his own stories start coming to life.

-Wheeler's adventures on the road. He continues his killing spree, but also starts down other serial killers (just like he did in Pick Me Up). Sort of like a cross between CHiPs and Dexter. And maybe a little bit of Buffy thrown in, because Mr. Chaney would be great as the villain of the series. Harold would probably show up at some point, too.

-Ida... well, there I drew kind of a blank. Though it would be cool to see Ida caught up in the story of The Screwfly Solution.

Surely I cannot be the only one who thought about this! These characters were simply irresistible! So superbly conceived, written and acted! What a wonderful show overall!

I don't see Harold's neighbors letting him go, and I'm pretty sure when the paras got Wheeler to the ER he was DOA.

The wild, cruel animal is not behind the bars of a cage. He is in front of it.
