Great idea, lousy execution
I've seen about half of the episode and very few of them are worth a damn. That is a shame considering I expected better from some of these directors.

shareYup, that's it exactly. MoH has a few great episodes, mixed in with a whole heck of a lot of utter crap.
shareI kinda disagree, I think the two seasons are underrated. Even the bad episodes are guilty pleasures IMO! A lot of these episodes won't please everyone, it's just a preference thing in some cases. Yeah, there are some duds but the good out way the bad, at least to me.
shareyeah but beggars (as a horror fan, that includes me) can't be choosers. most of them sounded really good, on paper. few delivered the scares (or, at least, entertained me).
shareYeah, as with Outer Limits. Rewatched it 8 years ago, and found some good episodes, but many were just awful, and much looks so dated. Probably won't be too long this show look dated too. Fear Itself was emberassing. Some of it was maybe a bit ok, but most not. But I rather have a horror show with much bad and something good, than nothing at all. Is there any other horror shows with different episodes that are worth looking at? Don't talk about The Twilight Zone or Tales From The Crypt, but something newer. ? I kind of like some of the cheeziness of the 90's in The Outer Limits, but it only works if it got a good story.
sharePersonally, from what I have seen, most aren't too bad. You'll always get a few stinkers in every anthology series. Sometimes it's just a matter of personal taste. Thing is, these shows are a mixed bag.... something for everyone.
I liked Jenifer. That was just plain creepy! I also got a kick out of Family. While many of the stories are a bit predictable, I didn't see that ending coming!
As anthology series go, I think this one is fun! Many of the stories are DARK!
