Wish this show was still around, looked forward to every episode when it aired. Would way rather have Masters of Horror instead of American Horror Story!

Me too. I wish they would bring it back. I have just read thought that Garris is prepping a sort of Masters of Horror movie. An anthology with 5 famous horror names.

Funny, I thought this was on a prememium ntwk, but I guess not.
I hunger for terror, tired of "chewed food".
Rewatched Case 39, and Stir of echoes. Fine stuff

You know I have to agree with you. I own most of the episodes on DVD and so when I need a fix I watch them. But I really liked the gutsy way this show was produced. It was pretty fearless which I loved. American Horror Story ain't scared to go there either, but I do miss all the murder, blood, and twisted stories on Masters of Horror.

Same here .. I don't get how AHS gets 6 seasons while this only gets too.. Oh because this actually focused on writing over style.

Because AHS isn't horror. AHS is ~95% soap opera, with ~5% tacked-on-as-an-afterthought, superfluous horror elements that might as well not even be there.

AHS is basically a new iteration of Desperate Housewives or some stupid crap like that. It calls itself horror, but horror it is not. AHS is squarely in the soap opera genre.

It's much easier to sell soap opera drivel to a mass audience that it is real horror. So that's why garbage like AHS gets 6 seasons.

Horror House was legit good. The rest of AHS is utter crap.
