The V Word

What did you guys think of this episode?

I'm a great lover of the vampire horror subgenre, but this kind of fell flat for me. It reminded me of a Tales From the Crypt episode except it wasn't as interesting or surprising. I just find it a bit cliche. Kids break into mortuary, and oh no, what a shock, everyone's dead and a zombie/vampire/ghost (pick your character) is to blame, let's investigate further!

I liked the episode but it was too predictable and blasé. At the end the black kid was clearly channeling Blade.

I liked it. Yes it was old school, but that's why I liked it. So much crap has been done to the vampire genre lately it was nice to see a well done classic vampire story again.

Aaah, buckle this.

Of the episodes I've seen (half), this is towards the bottom re: quality. Only watched because I'm a Jodelle Ferland fan. She makes the most of her brief appearance...gets off a clever one liner about pizza and flips off her brother lol Gets to play a potential victim like she does so well. Other than that, pretty "blah" episode. On par with the 2 Uwe Boll films she did. Oh, and the 2 friends were sort of likeable in the beginning. Nice to see a black kid acting kind of nerdy in a realistic, non-Urkel way ;-)

I found it to be a little boring. However, I was surprised because I expected it to be about zombies (Didn't quite pay attention to the title of the episode :P), so it was a "twist" of sorts that it was about vampires instead. heh.

I just hated how there had to be some whiny, "but I dun wanna be a vampire waaah!" wanker. Seems like there's always one.

I liked it a lot. One of my favorites of the series.
