What is WRONG with these people?

There are about four or five episodes I liked in this series and just a couple more I found good, but there was definitely horrible stuff too and I just read this: "According to creator Mick Garris, the directors involved were given free reign as to what stories they told, however they wanted to tell them. But when Showtime came on board, they laid out a handful of rules. One was, there could be no full frontal male nudity. Another was, there could be no violence committed on a child by another child (but violence by adults on children or children on adults was fine)."

What sexist morons make a rule like that?? And WHAT is wrong in their heads that they think showing a grown woman mauling a dead child is okay but a kid shooting another kid, for ex, would not be? Something's definitely gone bad in the skulls of the Showtime dips.
