The movie was all right. Not the best, but not the worst either. The superhero character Shazam just isn't hot. There's a reason it's not a popular character anymore. He's an ok boomer kind of supehero.

Yet most people that saw it liked it or loved it and it made almost 4x its budget. I'd say it sold just well enough.

So what, the movie was fun and it made money!

This was a movie made for the mainstream, not comic book nerds, and the mainstream liked the movie well enough. And doesn't give a rat's about the comic books.
