Yes...this was an outstanding result for a film budgeted at just 80 million

I love that film, probably my fav of the DC films of this current generation..However the real test would be to see if it will be able to stand strong when "Hellboy" comes out next week (I really hope it does) . I do strongly believe if Shazam! would have came out in December it would have found an even bigger audience as it feels so much like a Christmas film! It's as much a Christmas film as it is a comic book films.
