Finally a movie for parrot lovers!

Has such an original idea of tracing back all the owners of an 80 year old parrot using clues given by the phrases the parrot parrots. The romance aspect felt very natural also, nobody could resist the charms of Rachel Nichols in this as she is so very sweet natured and kind.

It's not as clever, but you might enjoy this one:

"The Goodbye Bird" (1993)
IMDb review excerpt:
Troubled teenaged Francis Phillips (Christopher Pettiet), living only with his mother (Cindy Pickett) since his father abandoned the family, is assigned for remediation by a juvenile court judge following his ongoing lapse into truancy and other misconduct, to an animal shelter managed by Ray Whitney ( Wayne Rogers) who befriends the boy although unable to convince Francis that euthanasia is a pragmatic solution for abandoned animals not saved through a process of adoption. The storyline centers about a parrot owned by the youth's high school principal (Concetta Tomei) who is convinced that Francis stole her pet bird as well as a valuable ring.

Wow! "Doctor Mordrid" was the film?! Gee! I almost didn't suggest it=O Frankly, I LOVE that film! It was supposed to be a "Doctor Strange" movie, but they lost the rights because they waited too long. So, they revamped it and created a very cool story with a great hero and villain, plus stop-motion dinofossils!

Meanwhile, "The Goodbye Bird" is a nice little parrot film as I recall.

I know you posted that a while ago but have you seen Paulie?

That's a wonderful film for bird lovers.
