This Movie had so much potential...

I loved the concept of this movie (time capsule, predicting world disasters)but it turned to complete and utter crap as the movie went on.

I just kept thinking that the writer should have let us use our imagination more than we were allowed. Here are so issues I had with this movie...

Did the kid really need to have a hearing problem?

Were we supposed to laugh when Nicolas Cage swung the bat at the tree?

Was it necessary to kill off the female lead in the car crash?

Why was he laying on the ground after they took his son? Looked weird to
me.

Do we really need to see the new planet?!
