yeah, that mom was a bit hysterical. i watched a soap opera for a couple of months recently, and the mom's reaction towards the end reminded me of some of those soap characters going a bit bat-crazy once they learn some revelation or other. It typically involves, like Diana in this film, driving recklessly and getting into a nasty accident.

Some funny replies in this thread... however this all means there was no real purpose to the stones in the film, which is said. But as was said, it's just one of a million problems with the movie.

Brimstone and Fire. Everything in this movie was a metaphor. Not necessarily to for Christianity but the perspective of what humans believe in the bible and what is actually happening.
Bible... Brimstone and Fire, Angels, All the Sun metaphors.
Actually happening. Aliens know things that are not bound by time, They communicate to select view, thing that will happen, where and how many will be effect. They also give day/time/place where to be saved before the end comes.
Bible... Humans that have no real concept of science and how things happen in the real world. So it must be God.
Actually Happening, Humans grew up, learned about stuff and now can explain a lot more than they could in the Biblical Days.

I think I've said enough. They're sapphires covered with tektite. That's all I'm going to say about it. That and Lucinda looks an awful lot like Kit Carson's wife. A lot of these films are made for "the initiated"...
In the beginning of the film the phrase "what the future will look like" is spoken while the time capsule is dropped into what looks like a gold smelting furnace with a sun or star flaring out from around it. Instantly, the teacher is distracted by Lucinda who is holding a big yellow bitcoin balloon which "Ascends" or goes up... like it did on the price charts in 2017 and again in Early 2021. The key word here is, "Future." Its not the day after tomorrow but rather a future, stock, bond, share, investment. You see? Lucinda was "a very sad little girl." Bitcoin was started on The Silk Road and originally funded by child and adult sex slaves, myself included... So- yeah. There's a lot to it. It was meant as a rescue. Originally it was laundered money and then each victim was given bitcoins at under 100 dollars and ethereum at 10 to 40 dollars. We had first dibs. When it went up Backpage was shut down and the rest is history.
The Whisper People in their trench coats are also seen in City of Angels, The Matrix, and a couple other films which all have to do with... Out of room.
