The ending of these movie. "Only those who heard the call". Obviously the screenwriters are borrowing heavily from the bibles book of revelations.

There is no Biblical book of Revelations.

What they're really doing IMO is rewriting Genesis. Each pair of kids, a new Adam and Eve, in a new garden, complete with tree.
