Anyone notice the similarities between Blades and Zoolander?

This is an old post, but my wife and I both thought the same thing. Especially the character introductions. Der-Ek Zooo-Lan-Der

Yep, just saw the movie on cable and thought the same thing. The over-the-top characters and the same flavor of comic acting.
