Where is Doggett!

I meannnnnnnnnn it would have been cool if he was in the movie, along with Reyes. I actually really liked their addition in the series, especially Doggett. It's been a couple years since I've seen the movie, but do they at least mention them?

No mention whatsoever. It would've been nice had they made cameos in this, but this is more a stand alone story following the first few Seasons rather than the last. No mention of Mulder and Scully's son either.

If there's a third, cross your fingers.

Actually, there is a scene where Mulder and Scully discuss their son William. It's short but definitely addresses their feelings about him.

Surprisingly I didn't miss Dog-gett in the movie either. wonder what happened to him and Reyes, they disappeared as quickly as they had appeared..

Yes there is. Its in the scene, where Mulder & Scully are laying in bed together and talking about the past, here William is shortly mentioned.

I just watched it last night for the first time in years, and there was also a mild nod to William when the parents of the sick child accuse Scully of not being able to understand their predicament because she's not a parent. She gave a 'look' to that accusation...

Would it really be that much of a stretch for writers to construct a reason for Doggett/Reyes to intersect with at least Scully on a personal level? Intimate friendships were formed.

I miss Reyes. Wah, wah, wah!

completely agree! i mean they left sooooo much open in the finale! i was so mad i felt robbed when the credits appeared. nothing was answered. no closure and i fully believe that dogget and reyes deserved some kind of closure!

have not seen the movie, but heard about this and what did happen to the others form show and esp the son??? liked the show, but sounds like this movie is/did not follow, or at least enough to mention...

Well Doggett is obviously not returning to the new batch of X Files, but his partner Monica Reyes is in the episode My Struggle II.

why the hell did they have to hire Xzibit when Doggett could just be in the movie
