This movie didn't convince me that:
1. A Secret Service agent would have an affair with the First Lady.
2. A Secret Service agent would be dumb enough to get caught having an affair with the First Lady.
3. A Secret Service agent would plot to kill the President.
4. Sledgehammer was President.

Well, I think if your marriage is a sham, it's plausible for the first lady to have an affair with a secret service agent. After all, he was around her 24/7 anyway. And they were careful to hide the affair, they were only caught because someone had some high tech equipment.
I seemed like the guy who was the mole was blackmailed into helping assassinate the president. It wasn't his idea, he was forced to go along.
It was totally weird seeing that guy as president because a few months ago he was on All My Children playing the stupidest part ever. Going from a bad role on a daytime soap to president in a film with major A list actors is a big jump.
