I try to find dvds that my parents (early 50s) would like and they love a good (crime) thriller. The Departed would be perfect if it wasn't so full of swearing and violence. They liked this one. Others I can think of are Perfect stranger, 16 blocks, Minority Report, Insomnia etc. Im not sure how the USA rating system works but definitely not R rated movies. Thx

In the Line of Fire with Clint Eastwood is the closest thing around i think,, deals with sEcret SErvice, and Clint's failure to protect Kennedy, but he get's another chance, with the current president.

i have both,, both originals and remakes.. enemy of the state original, was entitled the Conversation with Gene Hackman 1974, very gritty, and Day of the Jackal was very good,, forgot what year.

It's not about the Secret Service but it deals with treason, Breach was a great movie and I think your parents will like.

Just watch 24, its like this movie but alot better. Kiefer Sutherland is basically Jack Bauer in this movie lol.
