Who is David Breckinridge? Find out here!

Isn't it remarkable how Jack Bauer and David Breckinridge look alike so much? Well, there IS a logical explanation ...

The father of Jack Bauer is named Philip Bauer. He was the head of a very powerful company named BXJ Technologies (see 24: Season 6).
He had a wife named Maggie Breckinridge. Together they got 2 sons, a twin, named David & Jack Bauer.

When David & Jack Bauer were approximately 1,5 years old, Maggie found out that her husband Philip was cheating on another woman. She filed for divorce and even though she was in her right, Philip Bauer was so powerful that his lawyers managed to create an impasse.

So, it was decided in court that each parent would get one child. Philip Bauer got Jack. And Maggie got David.
But then Maggie - sick of anything that her husband had done - changed her name back to her maiden name, Brickinridge. And so David Bauer became David Brickinridge.

And that's why both Jack Bauer and the first-born twin David Brickinridge are soooo much alike ...

Later on, Philip Bauer got a 2nd son named Graem Bauer with his mistress (the woman he used to cheat on Maggie).
