Want to see this made

Even though Joel Schumacher is known for making even great high concept potboilers fall short. But I love "lost in the city" films or "survive the night" movies as I call them. There's something slightly riveting about knowing that by daylight all things will have taken their course. That makes the stakes higher.

1:30 Train could be a great film if they gave it to Aja or someone who might be ready for a shift in the suspense direction but will still have a pressence of stylistic touch. Or maybe I'm just being snooty. Some like him and he came close to making a satisfying thriller with Phone Booth but movies like 8MM, though decent, leave one with a feeling that of what could have been of such great ideas.
