Doesn't this mean that Kazakhstan exports inferior potassium?
This makes no sense, because according to the first line, Kazakhstan exports its potassium to other countries. This means, other countries' potassium comes from Kazakhstan. So he's basically saying Kazakhstan's exported potassium is 'inferior' - but inferior to what? He doesn't differentiate between potassium Kazakhstan presumably keeps to itself and the potassium Kazakhstan exorts, so it's all the SAME potassium, so the potassium is inferior to itself?!
In ANy case, these lyrics make NO sense! No wonder the crowd was angry - I would, too! Make some sense, you gypsy-hating foreigner!
Kazakhstan is the number one exporter of potassium because their potassium is superior. But it doesn't control the world's supply of potassium.
Other countries also mine potassium, but he's saying theirs is inferior. So he's saying, don't buy your potassium from other countries who are also selling it. Other countries with inferior potassium have mined their own. They didn't buy it from Kazakhstan.
You must be kidding. Go back and watch the scene again and pay attention to exactly what Borat says to crowd.
shareDid anyone notice that after he was done singing the anthem, the crowd, which you hear jeering and boo-ing very loudly, is standing motionless? Every single person is just STANDING there, but you hear all this screaming. I know some of this movie was done with real people who didn't know who Borat really is, but there were some scenes that were obviously staged.
I also thought the scene with the prostitute in the truck saying she wanted to take some time off was suspicious. It was filmed from a crane in front of the truck but you can clearly understand what they're saying.
I did absolutely love this movie, but some of these kinds of observations were a little disappointing.
The "prostitute" is an actress whose actual/stage name is Luenel, as in the film. She had appeared in other films before borat, e.g. The Rock (1996) and Never Die Alone (2004), according to imbd.com. She has moved onto appearing in the series Californication among others.
So that part was staged as well.
It was EXTREMELY disrespectful that's why. I'm REALLY surprised no one jumped him in the crowd and beat the dogshi t out of him!

Yes, I think that the Americans gradually started to realize that he was actually mocking them and America, so they got angered..I believe that the people from almost any country in the world would have reacted in a similar way.

They edited the scene to make the people respond the way it appeared in the movie. It's not difficult to see people not finding his words amusing-though, they did intend people to get the wrong idea as you yourself have gotten.
Idiots think analysis is magic. Michael Bay ruined those individuals' childhoods.
As someone has already stated, it's fairly obvious the booing was added in post. Two pages of this thread and it didn't even really happen.
