"how to train your dragon" is wayyy better then this piece of sh!t, the fact that you said its MORE of a emotional story proves what "HTTPD" is by FAR the superior film and this piece of crap called kungfu panda a well tuned crap factory that rips off old fashion chinese kungfu films and NOTHING is original makes me want to puke
this is why how to train your dragon got a tv show, the main character hiccup had a good heart who broke a murderous tradition that taught us a valuable lesson, he broke hundreds years of tradition even if it meant his dad hated him, who i reminded you said "i have no son" it was heart breaking, THAT deserves more then your garbage 'kungfu panda'. All kungfu panda does is rip off chinese culture with NO recognition to the culture at all
At least HTTYD teaches morals, NOTHING this generation does that anymore, nothing to teach kids meaning, example in comicbook movies we just want superman to bash people through buildings and have heaps of action instead of morals, not realising 'clark kent' is the other half of the character and JUST as important, pretty much people expect this in ALL comicbook movies this day and age, the whole point of a hero is to teach kids a lesson.
Even transformers the 80s animated movie (ORIGINAL MOVIE before michael bay farked up the franchise) had optimus prime die and pass on the torch to hotrod (a son like character) to lead the autobots to victory
kungfu panda:
1. rips off chinese culture and just cashes on china's traditions etc
2. didn't even at LEAST put traces of kungfu in it, all slapstic garbage
3. story is unoriginal where the strong student the son like character who gets treated like garbage and the so call orphan or someone we're suppose to feel sorry for gets all the attention (this is neglect and abuse) then people wonder why they harbour hate and become the villain (aka EVERY STORY KNOWN TO MAN KIND eg. jamesbond spectre)
4. poor so called villain is accused of hate, well the stupid tortoise is suppose to be like a father, isn't it your duty to teach them to lead them down a path of righteousness?? a parent or even a sifu (master) is suppose to teach the true meaning of kungfu which is to love/protect/ the innocent, abandoning them all together, not teaching them but teaching an outsideer so they feel alone and cast aside to be a memory? (as a person whos be bullied and made a social outcast for YEARS and now suffer depression, dealing with racist people and felt like I was cast aside, I know first hand on how it feels to be ignored and not acknowledged, especially since I'm STILL a loner)
THEN the tortoise after using stupid excuses to not teach Tai Lung saying his full of anger and all that nonsense THEN the final insult uses 'dim mak' on him before he dies, abandoning the guy who has always treated him [master shifu] like a father and instead teaching an outsider, ignored, isolation, abuse, gives more love to one then the other, that MADE the panther the bad guy. Shifu is the REAL villain
5. you only like it because theres heaps of celebrities in it, this was never about the story and all about franchising from the beginning
