Whatever happened to Paz?

I was wondering if we will ever learn what became of Paz after the events of Bourne Ultimatum. Its heavily implied that the is going to quit the program after he lets Jason go on the roof. Since then, there has been no mention of him in The Bourne Legacy or in Jason Bourne.

If they continue with the franchise is it possible that Paz could turn up again? Perhaps as a quasi ally for Jason.

If he comes back, I'd prefer the film be about Bourne and Paz helping each other figure out their previous lives, which, of course, leads to a deep and passionate romance between the two... I'd pay to watch Edgar Ramirez kiss another man. Yum.
