am i the only one who thought that the grant-monster looked very similar if not a scaled down carbon copy of the Blair-monster form the thing, when i first saw this movie that is exactly what i thought.

i never saw the thing but the grant monster looked an awful lot like the creature a character named roger turns into on a playstation 2 game called 'extermination' and the slugs look alot like a smaller creature from that game. that game might be copying the thing though since it takes place in antarctica.
P.S.: don't take it hard, just shake your head and laugh

But it also looked a bit like a Resident Evil (the games, not the movies) mutation.
