VS The Crazies

Can anyone please explain to me how "The Crazies" can possibly have a higher rating than Slither?

I can get why it does not appeal to everyone but then again it is not a serious movie.
The Crazies on the other hand, is meant to have a more serious plot but is as hollow as a pan flute and has wholes the size of the well known black ones in it's storyline.

I guess I am comparing these two because of the mere fact that they are "horror" movies but they should attract pretty much the same audience.

I watched The Crazies one time and found nothing in the entire movie that would warrant a second viewing. I've watched Slither all the way through about four times and have replayed several scenes just because they're THAT much fun. I have no idea what would possess people to rate The Crazies higher. It's bland, self-conscious, and has zero "re-watchability" factor. There's no accounting for taste.

Lol, a higher rating of 0.1 points. Serious stuff, man.

Almost 2 month old post, things can change with the ratings you know.
Still, in a comparison, Slither is like Godfather 2 and Crazies is Police Academy 6. Relatively speaking of course...
