i think i heard that Nathan Fillion was cast at the last minute.
anyone know who was originally cast as the sheriff?
In the special features James Gunn went to say that Universal wanted him to cast Nathan Fillion as Bill Pardy. Gunn prolly had someone in mind and was wrestling with the studio until he decided to cast Fillion. Maybe Gunn wanted Fillion all along you never know. Maybe he wasn't Gunn's first choice.
