It's... okay

Just watched Slither for the first time streaming on Netflix. Thought I'd comment only due to the high RT score (which I could for days explaining the uselessness of the site) which contrasts with the more modest IMDB user vote.

There are some humorous moments in a sea of what I find to be all too familiar. The effects aren't knocking it out of the park but if they were any cheaper one would expect to have seen this as a Sci-fi (Syfy) Original.

I enjoyed Slither enough that if asked to give a clear vote I could recommend it to the kind of audience that would go for horror or a comedy/horror genre film. With that in mind you can see how RT could stack up enough recommendations that they can be perceived as overwhelmingly positive reviews when in such quantity.
