Starla the cheater?

From what various characters said about Starla (Grant's wife) was that she was a prostitute ("had a john") , married Grant because his had a mansion on the hills and was never in the mood for sex with Grant. Through the movie Starla and the cop,Bill, seemed to have a sort of *hint hint* close friendship. WHich makes me wonder if the reason she wouldn't have sex with with Grant anymore (" what are you in the mood for anymore"?) was because she was seeing Bill on the side.

Either way part of this movie makes me feel for Grant, a man whose wife don't seem to have any interest in him,cheating on him and all he wants is Starla's love (think about how far he has gone in the movie to find,get and keep Starla)

so in short, do you think Starla was cheating on Grant with Bill thus why Wormy Grant was hell bent on getting Starla back?

No, she wasn't cheating on him, at least not with Bill. Even if she acted like it, Bill definitely acted like she was off-limits.

To me, the movie made it quite clear that Bill liked her, but there was nothing going on other than a little chemistry prior to the whole incident ;P

And yeah, I felt a little sorry for Grant, even when he went out, he didn't cheat, he was kissed but pushed (Brenda?) away saying he had to get home. Sucks for him that he got possesed by a parasitic alien.

I don't think they ever once said Starla was a prostitute before meeting Grant lol...
