Well into the movie it appeared serious and gory, then it became gory and comical. I just couldn't take anything seriously after awhile, well.... I wonder why, after the ghouls got Starla they treated her so special, brushing her hair, doting on her. I loved the Air Supply music they played (every woman in the world) while the ghouls were feeding on the victims... It was a haha fun movie to watch, I admit.
Mountain Man
Sounds like the first time you watched this movie. Glad you liked it. I saw this for the first time in theatres when it came out five years ago. I watched it again tonight on AMC and I still loved it just as much.
I love the sense of humor of this movie. When I first saw it and Shelby was talking about how the mother wanted the sheriff to fix the toilet after what he done in there on Sunday I nearly fell out.

I hated when the mayor got it because he kept me rolling all by himself lol.
I thought the mayor was funny. "That b*** is hardcore!" LOLOLOL

This is one if my favorites. So many funny lines. The whole cast was great. The effects were good not at all cheesy IMO. And yes the Aur Supply song was the cherry on top.
