so the people who were infected did they all die at the end of the film, what happens to the worms in their brains?
sharewell the worms died with Grant and considering how huge they were i doubt there's any way anyone infected with one could survive. they probably all died after the initial attack and then once they "come back to life", they are long gone and its just the worms controlling them. since they are inside the brain that can explain why they still retain knowledge from the host.
shareto me they didn't die when the slugs went into their brains - they definitely died at the end when grant exploded though.
