Predator homage!

Watching it now and just noticed the Predator theme music starts when the cops get their array of weapons from the rack to go "get that thang"....

I heard it too, the reason I went here to check. However if you look at the imdb forum for the composer you'll notice he seems to have some history of "stealing", so in this particular case the homage part is questionable.

Yeah, it's not exactly like the Predator theme but it sure sounds like it. Maybe it was a hommage, but maybe it wasn't.

I came here to post this after hearing the Predator music! Seems I was beaten to it.

Definitely an homage, too similar to be anything otherwise ;)

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the legendary Predator theme at that point!
