Since The Flash is officially a flop. Do you think DC or WB regret releasing the movie? I bet they probably thinking "we should've canceled the movie last year."
shareThey should had split it in half. One being an Old Man Wayne type of swansong for Keaton to release theatrically and then an on-the-cheap Flash movie for HBO Max. Realistically, how much should a Flash movie cost? Speed is his main power and that can't be that expensive to display.
shareThe minute they decided to dump Snyder-verse and go a new way, they should have canceled and written off all these movies just like they did Batgirl.
shareThe sad part is, it's the only good film of the entire Snyder-verse. Had it been released in a vacuum, I think it would have done well, but the baggage of all the crap that came before it was too much for it to bear.
