He is supposed to be returning to the role of Batman in the Flash. I hope his appearance is worthwhile but I would prefer if his return were to a true direct sequel to Batman Returns instead.

shareIt would cool to see Barry travelling to Earth-89 (Burton's Batman universe) and he meets Keaton's Bruce Wayne, who is retired, we'd see a picture of Michael Gough's Alfred, who would be dead alongside Gordon. i hope Michelle Pfeiffer makes a cameo as Selina. But I could see Keaton appearance pave the way for a Batman Beyond movie or HBO series if necessary

Explanation about Keaton's role:
He will be playing the Flashpoint Batman who is Thomas Wayne. in the Flashpoint reality Bruce was killed by the mugger and his parents try to avenge his death in different ways, Thomas as a lethal Batman & Martha as the Joker.
