You can rent it at Blockbuster. If you want to hear the commentaries you need the Canadian version that you can purchase through Amazon.ca. I enjoyed the commentaries ... the wardrobe being DB's and the pepto scene was his idea, funny.
sharek, thanks people. I saw it at my local HMV too, so maybe I'll end up buying it instead. But I don't know, even though Amanda Walsh is in it, is it worth it?
sharemaybe you could try renting it first to see if you like it. I didn't think the DVD was that cheap, otherwise I would've bought it, but I'm glad I didn't.
shareI decided to bite the bullet and buy it (I had a much better cash flow due to birthday money) and I watched it the other night. I laughed my ass off. It is one of the funniest things I've seen in years. Yes, there were a lot of sexual scenes (but that's kind of implied by the summary, what else do you expect?) and they used the f-word just a bit too much, but overall, I was entertained. I haven't gotten to the special features yet, and I looove special features, so I'm looking forward to seeing those. I've always found that a great way to learn about some anecdotes from filming is to listen to the commentary, which luckily for me, Amanda Walsh is one of the people doing it. I can't really explain it, but it was kind of obvious that it was filmed in Canada. Plus, there's this one scene with Glory riding her bike, and she's supposed to be deep in thought about her relationship with Keith, and music is playing and the whole time I was thinking that if this hadn't been a low-budget movie, she would have been in a car doing that and looking slightly less stupid, lol. Anyways, I did happen to see two copies of it when I was at Blockbuster today, and they're in the new release section, so maybe a fair number of people will stumble onto it and enjoy it just as much as I did?
