There's a documentary that shows some of the preproduction of this movie

I just watched a documentary called Dreams On Spec. It follows three writers as they try to sell their screenplays. One of the writers is David Stieve trying to sell Behind the Mask. It's fun to watch the early interaction between him and director Scott Glosserman, he gets aggravated at Scott a couple of times. Worth checking out if you can find it.

It can be found on hulu under the documentaries page.

I was strollling thru hulu and found dreams on spec. Behind the mask constantly arrives on my netflix reccomended, and it was a treat to see the trials the screenwriter went thru to sell his script. They document three writers and this was the only one that sold, but it appeared to be the least likely to sell in th beginning

check it out
