So, Did Eugene + His Wife . . . (Spoilers)?

Did they know Leslie's plan all along, or did they believe he was really going after Kelly?

It certainly paints them as much more devious if they did know and went all along with it!

I think they probably knew all along.

Yeah, I think they knew, and they played along to help the set up.

that's such an interesting question! i never thought of that. i'd say they probably knew. now i wonder if they hoped that the survivor girl would end up with the serial killer, like they did- sort of matchmaking. :)

I'm pretty sure they knew all along. It just added to the black humour of the movie for me. I loved it!

I say they know. at one point one of them says "oh I like her!". looking back that seems to fit with them knowing shed be the survivor girl.

I hate how IMDb signatures look like part of the post.

reply

They definitely knew. thats why they gave her tips

reply

I'm fairly certain that they did- they dropped quite a few hints here & there.

I'm sure they knew, and probably advised Leslie along those lines. When Eugene asks Leslie about his "red herring" in front of Taylor, I get the feeling the real red herring they're talking about is pretending that Kelly is the intended Survivor Girl.

reply

Also I think they also knew Leslie also was emotionally/sexually interested in Taylor.
Part of the movie idea is the KILLER usually has a bond with the Survivor Girl.

The two of them also seemed genuine in their actions. They knew Leslie's plans, but had no problem being open and honest about everything else.

And I'm sure they figured at least the camera guys would be killed and someway Leslie would possess Taylor. So they could say anything, but not give away Leslie's true intentions towards Taylor.
