According to IMDb, Scott Glosserman has two in-development credits, but I don't have IMDb-pro so I have no idea what they are. One of them could possibly be Behind the Mask 2, I suppose.
The reason the end credit sequence was so badass was because of the Talking Heads' 1977 hard rock ballad ''Psycho Killer''. What a prime use of classic rock in film.
Aside from the great use of the Heads tune, I absolutely hate endings like this one. SPOILERS AHEAD....
His freakin' head was crushed and he was burned beyond recognition. No way on earth would he just get up like that. I get that it was a set-up for a sequel, I do. But why cheapen it by having that sort of ending? Unless the director was just using the scene to force the audience to sit through the credits; in that case, the ending was brilliant.
But, really, too many horror films end this way, with just a glimpse of the killer, so you know he's not really dead. ANOTHER SPOILER FOLLOWS...
Sorority Row had the same kind of ending. This time, it was a guy who'd been run over, several times, by an SUV. He shows up at the house "some time later" with the hint that there may be a sequel in the works. I know these movies are in no way based in reality, but come on, let's at least try to be a little more creative!
If you watch the deleted scenes, Eugene's interview about surviving being run over by trains, having his head chopped off, etc. was originally meant to be the closing credit sequence. Thematically similar to what they ended up using, but a lot funnier.
well if you remember he put the gel one that was supposed to prevent his eyes from buldging out and he said he also made it flame retardent also i am aware of the massive fire but he was also studing the art of escaping and also the fact i bet 10 to 1 he also had the apple crusher riged for an easy escape so i be after she lit the fire he escaped and then after the fire was out snuck back in i mean he was very fast and he didnt look burnt at the end
Hmm, I just took the ending when Leslie gets up to be like a reference to how Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees always are alive and get up in the end of the movies even though they've been supposedly killed and injured in extreme ways, they're always alive at the end.
Yeah, I was about to turn the film off to be honest when the credits started, not really understanding what was going on. I'm glad I tuned in long enough to see it though
